Why doesn't clever dodo have a notification indicator ? Please please put one!

i like clever dodo without notifications. it's healthier and less addictive. In other sites, i can't read without it distracting me

It would be nice to see who has voted on your posts too. I get emails for new answers and comments but none when someone votes on my posts.

The feature is on the TODO list but we never got round to doing it. Users are not permanently logged onto the site, so real time notification is not really required. Through the notification email that gets sent, they come check on the updates to their questions/answers/comments. So this functionality is not a priority at the moment but marked as a nice-to-have feature. We'll definitely implement this but exactly when, we don't know.
